Tyler Arboretum and Almanac Dance Circus Theatre present an after-hours acrobatic adventure

MEDIA, Pa (June 18, 2014) – When the sun sets, the imagination runs wild as the night comes alive with supernatural creatures and beasts of mythical proportions. Nightfall, a live acrobatic exhibition, comes to Tyler Arboretum on Tuesday, July 15, from 8:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.!

Taking place in Tyler Arboretum’s Native Woodland Walk, guests will take a mild hike on illuminated paths through the woods while encountering a panorama of mythical woodland creatures performed by the acrobatic actors of the Almanac Company. Multiple “habitats” throughout this spectacle await discovery, each one different and more fantastic than the last. This physical theater performance gives guests an exciting evening of magic and imagination within the Arboretum’s historic grounds.

Nightfall is unlike any other event we’ve ever held,” said Amy Mawby, Director of Public Programs. “The glowing paths illuminating the way through the darkness coupled with the unpredictable appearances of our supernatural creatures makes for a very mysterious and exciting environment.”

This event is a partnership between Tyler Arboretum and the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts and is made possible through support from The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage.

Nightfall is most suitable for ages eight and older. This event is free and no pre-registration is necessary. Nightfall will take place rain or shine. For more information, please visit or call (610)566-9134.
