Little Chefs:
International Foods
Wednesdays, 10 – 11:30am

Travel the world with our international
cooking series as we prepare cuisine from
different countries! Get your passport
stamped at each class as we make and
taste foreign fare. Thematic content and
cooking tasks will be best suited to kids
ages 3-6, but all ages are welcome. Please
inquire when registering if you have
allergy concerns.
$15 members, $20 non-members

December 5
Kids will love to prepare and try a
popular Chinese noodle dish: lo
mein. We’ll also make our own
fortune cookies, and learn where
they really originated.

Pies have become such a national
symbol of our food heritage that
a familiar phrase was coined: “As
American as apple pie.” Let’s bake a
pie and decorate sugar cookies in the
spirit of the holiday season!

January 2
Indonesia’s favorite street food, nasi
goreng, is a simple and wholesome
fried rice dish that comes in numerous
styles. Make it along with the nation’s
favorite chicken satay on skewers!

they are super nutritious if you fill
them with lots of veggies.

Introduce exotic flavors to your kids
with this subtly spiced, pad Thai. This
delicious stir fry noodle dish is one of
Thailand’s national dishes.

Crepes are easier to make than you
think. These French staples can be
dressed up with sweet or savory toppings
and any number of flavorful fillings.

The great thing about Italian food is
that the recipes can be delightfully
simple and still incredibly flavorful.
We will make stuffed pasta shells and
enjoy it with a yummy Italian salad!
