Tyler welcomes groups for visits with prior arrangement.
Un-guided Group Visits
Groups (15 or more people) that wish to tour the Arboretum unguided may receive $1 off admission per person with a minimum of 24 hours advance notice.
Please contact the Visitor Center to make arrangements at 610-566-9134, ext. 212.

Guided Group Tour Visits
Groups that would prefer a guided tour must schedule at least three weeks in advance. To make arrangements please contact the Education Department at 610-566-9134, ext. 214.
Tyler Arboretum offers ample bus parking.

Guided Tour Options:
Garden Highlights Tour, 1-2 hours
- Flowers of Spring – cherries, magnolias, and bulbs for early spring and rhododendrons, azaleas, lilacs and wildflowers in late spring.
- Summer Highlights – Painter trees, Herb Garden, Native Plants, Meadow Maze
- Glories of Fall – Trees with good fall foliage and Meadow Maze
Historic Painter Tour, 1-1½ hour
Tour of the Minshall/Painter homestead including Lachford Hall, the free-standing Painter Library, Springhouse, Fruit Vault, and Greenhouse, as well as the historic 19th century Painter Trees. Discover the story of this family of early Quakers farmers and tradesmen and how they shaped the land.
Habitat Gardening, 1-2 hours
Tour of the Bird and Butterfly Gardens, Native Woodland Walk, Meadow Maze, and Butterfly River.
Maple Sugaring, 45 minutes – 1 hour
See trees being tapped sap being boiled down to syrup. (Late January – early March)
