A. Tyler Arboretum does not have dining facilities, but we do sell drinks and snacks in the Visitor Center. Guests are always welcome to bring food and drinks and enjoy our picnic areas. Sorry, no outside alcohol is allowed. We are also happy to recommend affordable options at the Country Deli on Rte 352 and Chick Fil-A of Lima on Rte 1. There are also several food options inside the Granite Run Mall on Rte 1.

A. Public restrooms are located inside the Barn, under the ramp.

A. Yes. Our water fountain is located on the path from the Visitor Center, in front of the Storybook Houses.

A. Tyler is a naturalistic landscape and access to plants and garden displays is often on turf or mulched surfaces. Paved surfaces include the path from the Visitor Center to the Barn, historic buildings, and Pond, and the ADA-compliant Scenic Loop and paths in the Wister Rhododendron Garden. Thoreau’s Cabin, Fort Tyler and the Tulip Tree House are ADA-accessible.

A. If you are able, return to the Visitor Center for basic first aid supplies. If you are hurt and need assistance, please call (610) 566-9134 and a staff member will help you. If it is an emergency, please dial 911.

A. Yes! Guided tours are available seasonally for schools, scouts and community groups. We also offer public programs for kids, families and adults throughout the year. Topics range from gardening, nature, botanical arts and even health and wellness. Check out our calendar for more information.

A. You can show your receipt to Visitor Center staff before you leave and apply today’s admission toward a membership on site. You can also sign up for membership from home by visiting our website at www.TylerArboretum.org/membership.
