Stewardship Gifts - Gifts of any level

Would you like to give a unique tribute gift for a birthday, anniversary, wedding, or to honor the memory of a departed loved one? You can make a Stewardship Gift to honor a special person in your life.

Operations Enhancement Fund:

Gifts made to this fund are assigned to Tyler’s general operating needs. Donors can designate a gift to the following areas of the Operations Enhancement Fund: horticulture, children’s programs, natural areas, and historic collections. Donors, with Tyler staff input, can designate a gift within a Fund area (examples: Bluebird Nesting Box Program, Horticulture Resource Library, Education Intern Scholarship).

Legacy Collections Fund:

Gifts made to this fund are assigned to Tyler’s legacy horticultural and historical collections – either capital improvement, program, or maintenance needs. Legacy collections include the Painter Trees, the Dr. John C. Wister Rhododendron Collection, and Historic Buildings Preservation.

Endowment Fund:

Memorial and tribute gifts of any level can be designated to Tyler ’s Endowment Fund. A minimum of $250,000 is required to create a named endowment in support of a Tyler-designated (with donor input) ongoing project or need with a duration greater than 12 months.

Please note: Tyler is no longer accepting contributions for memorial or tribute tree plantings as a result of present and future strategic planning related to the Arboretum’s horticulture collections.
