Pancake
Breakfast and Maple Sugaring Celebration
|
 |
Tyler's Pancake Breakfast and Maple Sugaring Celebration attracts hundreds of visitors
each February to an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast and old-fashioned maple sugaring festival.
On the first Saturday in February, children and adults can enjoy a hearty breakfast, then go out into the Arboretum to learn how real maple syrup is made on maple sugaring tours and demonstrations scheduled
throughout the day. |
Arbor
Day Plant Sale |
| Celebrate Arbor Day by attending Tyler's Spring Plant
Sale. On the last Saturday in April, the Arboretum offers a fine selection of annuals, perennials, container plants, shrubs and trees.
A selection of butterfly-attracting plants will help turn your garden
into an oasis for these beautiful insects. Experts are on hand to answer your gardening questions and demonstrate planting techniques. Admission to the Arboretum is free for this event. If you're a member of the Arboretum, you can enjoy an
exclusive Plant Sale Preview on the evening before the sale is opened to the public. |

Pumpkin Days |
 |
Thousands of visitors come to Tyler
on the third weekend in October each year to enjoy Pumpkin Days, our annual fall festival, making it the biggest event of the year at the Arboretum. Pumpkin Days activities and entertainment include Tyler's famous Haunted Barn, hayrides, music,
crafts, games for kids, scarecrow making, pumpkin decorating, plenty of food, and more.
Watching Chuck Feld create his fantastic sand sculptures has become a Pumpkin Days tradition.
Makin' Music puts on a performance that gets kids dancing and singing
along. Guided tours of Tyler's historic Lachford Hall and Painter Library are also part of the festival. |
