Capture the Magic!

With a sprinkling of faerie dust, wave of a wizard’s wand, and a little help from our legendary friends from middle earth, the magical world of Nature’s Enchantment

unfolds around you.

Discover this special realm of make-believe as you explore nearly 30 unique exhibits, including adaptations from Tyler's hugely successful Totally Terrific Treehouse exhibit.
Nature's Enchantment creations abound on a nearly one-mile tree-lined route, for the enjoyment of children and adults of all ages, through October 31. Nature’s Enchantment is open rain or shine during regular Arboretum hours, and is free with the price of admission.

The Magic Playhouse...enter the tiered amphitheatre through the magical tunnel of this natural theater! A beautiful woodland place where children and their grown-ups enjoy enchanted play acting and make believe! Kids are invited to find the perfect costume and props, and ‘stage’ imaginative performances!

Exhibit originally created in 2008 by Allan A. Myers, Inc., Buchart-Horn/BASCO Associates Architects, Engineers, and Pocopson Industries.

Goblins do everything crooked. They walk in crooked lines and build crooked buildings, such as the Crooked Goblin Shack, filled with gargoyles, bats and giant spiders sitting in their webs. They even speak a crooked language called goblindeegoop!

Exhibit created by Mark Cook Landscape and Contracting.

Wizards-in-training learn tricks of the trade in the magical Wizard Workshop. Come and see what secrets can be revealed in the Wizard’s mysterious Gazing Ball. Join us on Sunday, July 11, from 1pm – 3pm for our Faerie and Wizard Academy.

The elegant and enchanted Troll Bridge beckons visitors with its natural beauty, but keep a careful eye out for the Troll! He hides in his home nestled underneath where he listens and watches for all who cross! His mission, while here at the Arboretum, is to ask that we all take care of Nature’s brooks and streams.

Exhibit created by Parris Bradley and John Stovicek of Villanova University’s Theatre Department, is made entirely from recycled materials.

Visitors are at once engaged by the open meadow that lies before them and then, the shear size of Meadow Spirits captures their attention! There is a definite air of sophistication about these spirits of nature that draws the viewer into the Meadow’s world of magic and mysticism.

Exhibit designed and created by Simple.

Where does this in-ground tunnel lead?
To the Green Man Green Hut!
The Hut was built by Green Men who have come to the Arboretum to keep watch as part of their duty towards Nature. A short crawl finds visitors in a rustic shelter that acts as camouflage so Green Men can peek out into the forests and woodlands without being seen.

Exhibit designed by Geoff Anderson and Alan Summers and created by Williamson Free School Horticulture students.
