Tyler Arboretum is set apart from other area arboreta by the fact that its mature plant collections are laid out in a natural setting. In addition to the historic
Painter Trees,
several of which are state champions, Tyler maintains other impressive collections
including:

 | Amazing Butterflies Butterfly House & Garden
is a unique opportunity to learn about, to photograph, and to get a close-up look at our local butterflies in all stages of development

 | An 85-acre Pinetum
that features pines, spruces, hemlocks, firs, cedars, false cypresses and larches
|
 | Beautiful and diverse rhododendron, flowering cherry, crabapple, holly, magnolia and lilac collections
|
 | The serene The Native Woodland Walk
|
 | The Stopford Family Meadow Maze,
a labyrinth of meadow grasses and butterfly-loving plants

 | Pink Hill, a barren of serpentine stone on which grows endemic wildflowers

 | The Painter
