SUITABLE FOR ADULTS AND TEENS AGES 15-17

Experience the magic of Tyler at night!

Join guides Dick Cloud and John Bunting on this hike under the light of the full moon. Hiking at night is a unique sensory experience. We will use our senses of hearing, smell, and touch to navigate. We will observe the full moon as we walk through the meadows and more open areas of the Arboretum. Our guide will share points of special interest and seasonal highlights. We hope to see and hear some of the nocturnal wildlife that makes a home at the Arboretum!

This moderately-paced hike is for adults and teens comfortable walking 3+ miles on uneven terrain that may include short distances along steep trails. Bring a flashlight and wear sturdy hiking boots. Feel free to bring binoculars to observe the moon. All teens must be accompanied by an adult.

This program starts after Tyler’s closing hours. Gates will open 15 minutes before the program begins and close promptly 10 minutes after the start time, so please be on time. Once you arrive and park, please check in with the staff associate at the Visitor Center Patio, where the group will gather.
