Go All American on National Trails Day! June 6 is National Trails Day, and what better way to celebrate than to join us for an All American Hike on the red, white and blue blazed trails at Tyler! This 13.1 mile, modest-paced hike will give participants a wonderful cross-section of the Tyler Arboretum property and trail system. Hiking on the Painter (red), Minshall (white) and Rocky Run Trails (blue) trails will lead you along watersheds, wildflower meadows and woods. Your guide will be Tyler Board of Trustees member Jim Flandreau who is also a Natural Areas Committee member, volunteer trail maintainer and avid hiker.
Participants will need hiking shoes/boots, trail lunch and snacks, and water. Sunscreen, sun hats and bug repellant are highly encouraged.
Pre-registration required; FREE with admission.
