Gourd Crafting Workshop

Attract beautiful birds to your garden by transforming hard shell gourds into decorative birdhouses.

Hard shell gourds have been used for centuries for a variety of implements. More recently, they have been used for birdhouses, especially for purple martins. Now artisans are creating beautiful works of art with natural garden fruits. Join Tyler Educator, Karen McDonald, for a fun winter day creating and decorating gourd birdhouses. Wear old clothes and bring a brown bag lunch - we supply the beverages. Fee includes all materials.
