Scout Programs
Tyler Arboretum’s diverse outdoor classroom offers interactive educational programs for scouts.
Programs include:
- Introduction to Hiking
- Seasonal Hikes
- Wildlife Management: Birds and Trees
- Conservation
In addition, Eagle Scouts may successfully complete projects under Arboretum staff supervision. Past projects include the construction of pedestrian bridges and the construction and installation of owl nest boxes.
Scout programs may be scheduled on weekends, after school hours, and on school holidays. Staff members are available to assist scouts to fulfill a variety of badge requirements.
