Be sure to visit the
Junior Naturalist
Junior Naturalist programs are for children ages six to eight. Each program explores as different aspect of the natural world and includes a lesson and an outdoor exploration.
Adults are welcome to accompany children; fee is for the child only, unless otherwise specified.
Registration Information
Pre-registration is required for all programs unless otherwise indicated. A full refund will be given if the Arboretum must cancel or reschedule a program due to inadequate enrollment, instructor illness, or inclement weather. We will make every reasonable attempt to notify you if a program is cancelled.
A $3 administrative fee will be charged for each program cancellation that you initiate. A full refund, less the administrative fee, will be given with a minimum notice of two weeks. A 50% refund will be given with a minimum notice of one week. NO REFUNDS will be given with less than one week's notice.
Full payment must accompany each registration. Payment may be made via check or charge; VISA and MasterCard are welcome. To register: print and mail/fax the registration form (see link to the left), call 610-566-9134 ext. 215, or stop in.

NEW! Nature Kids: Early Spring Planting
It's time to get in the garden.
It might be chilly, but it's time to get the garden started so we have lots of great food later in the year. Come prepared to ‘dig-in’ - plant seeds, potato tubers, onion bulbs, and broccoli plants in the Vegetable Demonstration Garden, as well as make a windowsill lettuce garden to take home.

Frog Hunt
FROGS FROGS everywhere!
Frogs are coming out of their winter sleep and are very active this time of year. Search the ponds, stream sides, and vernal pools for submerged frog eggs, swimming tadpoles, and jumping frogs.

NEW! Nature Kids: Magical Stepping Stones
Help Tyler prepare for the annual Nature's Enchantment exhibition!
Tyler's acclaimed annual exhibition in 2010, Nature's Enchantment, celebrates the magic and mystery of the many spirits and beings of nature. Help us to create the magical stepping stones that will be placed in and around the Arboretum for these special Mother Nature's helpers, who have agreed to spend some time with us this summer!
