Registration Information
Pre-registration is required for all programs unless otherwise indicated. A full refund will be given if the Arboretum must cancel or reschedule a program due to inadequate enrollment, instructor illness, or inclement weather. We will make every reasonable attempt to notify you if a program is cancelled.
A $3 administrative fee will be charged for each program cancellation that you initiate. A full refund, less the administrative fee, will be given with a minimum notice of two weeks. A 50% refund will be given with a minimum notice of one week. NO REFUNDS will be given with less than one week's notice.
Full payment must accompany each registration. Payment may be made via check or charge; VISA and MasterCard are welcome. To register: print and mail/fax the registration form (see link to the left), call 610-566-9134 ext. 215, or stop in.

NEW! Nature's Jewelry Workshop
Let the subtle shapes, forms, and textures of nature inspire you.
Create either one large, or two small, handmade silver pendants. Custom fine jewelry artist, Karen Olson, guides you in how to work with Art Clay Silver, a product made of microscopic particles of fine silver suspended in an organic binder. At the conclusion of the class, Karen will fire your creations in a high temperature kiln which burns away the binder, leaving your pure silver creations. No experience necessary; tools and materials provided. A $45 materials fee will be due to the instructor at the start of class.

Mosaic Birdbath Workshop
Enjoy the Arboretum's unique and wonderful setting as your inspiration
Workshop Dates: Saturday, April 10 and Saturday, April 17

Create a beautiful mosaic birdbath using pottery, pebbles and stained glass. Barbie Henig returns to share her expertise and help with our creations.
In the first class, Barbie shows us how to break and attach mosaic pieces to the terracotta base. In the second class, learn how to grout and complete the project.
A $15 materials fee is due to the instructor on the first day of the workshop.

Spring Photo Foray
Commune with nature as you create memories.
Ecologist and macro-photographer, Steve Tessler, leads participants on a moderately-paced hike to several seasonally scenic Tyler locations. After a brief introduction to each site and its natural charms, participants have 30 to 40 minutes to take pictures, share tips, or quietly commune with nature before moving on.
This program is appropriate for adults only. Shoes suitable for uneven terrain and insect repellant are advised. Please bring a camera you are familiar with, and a tripod, if you have one.

May Day Basket Workshop
Celebrate May Day by creating an arrangement using herbs and spring flowering plants.
Celebrate May Day by creating a table-top May Day Basket to give to a friend or keep for yourself! Karen McDonald, owner of Petal Pushers, takes you step-by-step through the process of creating a colorful arrangement using herbs and spring flowering plants, as well as cut materials. All materials for the arrangement are provided; please bring pruners or shears.
