Visitors to the Arboretum often comment on the striking set of modernistic chairs that have lived near Tyler’s picnic area for the past few years. The minimalist design blends beautifully in the landscape and they are also wonderfully comfortable. The design has been used exclusively at New York’s Wave Hill garden for many years. Our chairs were built and donated to us by Dan Benarcik and they have aged beautifully. Take advantage of this special opportunity to build your own Wave Hill chair under Dan’s guidance. No carpentry skills are needed.
Please bring a cordless drill/screwdriver that is fully charged.
